Participants will first enter a special room that is usually not accessible, whare a famous monk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple will talk about Kannon and Kiyomizu-dera Temple in an easy-to-understand manner. (in Japanase)

Concept Ninnaji Temple is a Buddhist temple in north-west Kyoto that is deeply related with the Imperial Family of Japan. The temple is especially famous for its Omuro Sakura cherry trees which are the latest blooming cherries in the whole of Kyoto city. Kondo (National Treasure / Usually not open to public)

The Kondo (Main Hall) was originally on the grounds of the Imperial Palace in central Kyoto, donated to the temple in the 1600s.

Nio-mon Gate（Important Cultural Property）

Guarded by the two otherworldly, wrestler-like Kongo-rikishi statues, the gate is one of the three most famous of the numerous temple entrance gates in Kyoto.

Goten Palace（Registered Tangible Cultural Property）

Built in the style of an imperial palace, the highlight is the Goten, the former residence of the head priest in the southwestern corner of the temple complex.

Omuro Sakura (Cherry Blossoms)

The temple is especially famous for its Omuro Sakura cherry trees which are the latest blooming cherries in the whole of Kyoto city.

Toraya Karyo Kyoto Ichijo "Morning Matcha Experience" Enjoy the Morning Japanese Garden View

Concept Toraya, a venerable Japanese confectionery shop, has been located west of the Imperial Palace (Gosho) since before 1628. This quiet and historic neighborhood is where the shop has long served the Imperial Palace. The garden, featuring an Inari shrine and an Edo-period storehouse, changes its expression with each season and has also been selected for the National Japanese Garden Ranking. We have prepared a special plan that allows you to experience wagashi (Japanese sweets) and matcha (green tea) in a private, spacious setting during the quiet pre-opening hours, all while overlooking this beautiful garden. Enjoy the traditional Japanese culture of tea ceremony and wagashi, and spend a profound moment unique to Kyoto.

Kondo Hall (National Treasure, Normally Closed to the Public)

The Kondo Hall, relocated from Kyoto Imperial Palace, is the oldest surviving Shishinden (ceremonial hall) that preserves the architectural style of palace buildings from the Momoyama period.

The World of Pure Land Paradise

Inside the Kondo Hall, a breathtaking depiction of Pure Land paradise spans the width of the interior. The central statues of the Amida Triad enhance the beauty of this magnificent space.

Goten (Registered Tangible Cultural Property)

Connected by corridors, the elegant group of palace-style buildings evokes the refined atmosphere of the Heian aristocracy. This area is among the most prestigious sections of Ninnaji Temple.

The Mystical World of the "Sea of Clouds"

One of the highlights of Ninnaji Temple's nighttime viewing is the illuminated "sea of clouds." Guests can marvel at the enchanting sight of the National Treasure Golden Hall and autumn foliage seemingly floating amidst a dreamlike sea of light.

To-ji Temple: An Exclusive Visit to a World Heritage Site

To-ji Temple's five-story pagoda holds the distinction of being Japan's tallest wooden structure. The stunning combination of the pagoda with the autumn leaves perfectly exemplifies the beauty of Kyoto in autumn. Sanzen-in Temple: A Garden Known as the "Oriental Jewelry Box"

Shisen-do Temple: A Nostalgic Mountain Retreat

Famous as the residence of Edo-period poet and scholar Ishikawa Jozan during his later years, this temple is celebrated for its seasonal beauty and quintessential Japanese charm. The stunning autumn leaves spread throughout the entire garden, and the sound of shishi-odoshi (a bamboo water fountain) echoes through the serene grounds, offering a quintessentially Japanese ambiance.

Hōgon-in Temple: A Masterpiece of Quiet Beauty

A sub-temple of the Tenryu-ji monastery, Hōgon-in Temple is renowned for its exquisite autumn foliage. From the normally private room, the view of the garden is so stunning that it leaves one breathless.
